We are delighted to present this low mileage quality example of an AC that was manufactured at Brooklands where we are located. It comes with a cherished AC number plate, full weather gear and documentation from AC Cars to support its heritage. The Cobra has just gone through a Brooklands Works Service pre delivery inspection and is available for demonstration by prior appointment.

This Carbon Road Series (CRS) Cobra is powered by a Ford V8 power plant. It has only had 2 owners and an original 8,500 miles on the car. Presented in stunning silver metallic coachwork with blue hand crafted Connelly interior. Significant weight savings have been made possible through the use of a one piece body shell of carbon-fibre. Pre-impregnated bodies are formed in a high temperature autoclave to ensure exceptional quality levels, utilising laminated carbon-fibre cloth and thermoset epoxy resin. Technology utilised in F1 race cars. The CRS is painted and assembled to AC factory standards.

The CRS Engine develops 225 BHP at 4200 RPM / 300ft lbs of torque. Performance is 0-60 mph in 5 seconds and a top speed of 145 mph. The Cobra uses a 5 speed manual gearbox with a Hydratrak limited slip differential. Independent front and rear suspension and rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes vented at the front. The dash layout consists of a speedo, rev-counter fuel, temp, oil pressure gauge, and a clock. The doors contain door pockets and there is a cubby glovebox. Safety is ensured by twin chrome plated roll over bar. The 16 alloy Halibrand style racing wheels are shod with directional 225 ZR 16 (front)and 225 50 ZR 16 Dunlop Sport 8000 tyres (rear).
